Group Chat and Emoticons by Gmail

Google have just added group chat and emoticons features to its Gtalk and Gmail.

By group chat you can have conference with more than two people simultaneouly in the same chat window. When u have started he chat you can add more people to your chat by going into the options at the bottom-left of your chat window and activate group chat. When u don’t want to continue chat you can easily leave the group chat but the other people logged in the chat remain chatting.
You can join back in the group chat by having invitation from the prevalent group chat member

Most of we people have felt for a long time the absence of using graphical emoticons in gtalk and google chat, but now this wait has been over.Google has launched the graphical emoticons to be used in chats. Now you can spice up your chats with these emoticons. :)

I was thinking about the feature of call in the gchat.Surely it would come soon.
Now no need to leave Gtalk or Gchat to join yahoo messenger or meebo because all the features are now added by google and still more features to come in the future. ;)

Google’s launches Opensocial API: A challenge to facebook dominance

I think its quite a late entry but for its my responsibility to introduce u all to this hype about google OpenSocial API. Google on Friday launched OpenSocial, a common platform for developers of social websites apps, in a direct challenge to Facebook. The Internet search leader said it hopes OpenSocial’s set of common application programming interfaces (APIs) will revolutionize the Internet’s social networks.

The web is fundamentally better when it’s social, and we’re only just starting to see what’s possible when you bring social information into different contexts on the web, said Jeff Huber, senior vice president of engineering, Google.
There’s a lot of innovation that will be spurred simply by creating a standard way for developers to run social applications in more places, he said.

OpenSocial will also support MySpaceor vice-versa in this project that represents an audience of about 200 million users globally.
Google said a total of 18 sites had already committed to supporting OpenSocial, including Oracle, orkut, Bebo and LinkedIn.

If you have a blog or want to write some reviews on your blog then you should consider working with PayPerPost.PPP allows bloggers to discuss about the products they r interested in and which is there niche for blogging and get paid for such discussions or posts on your blog. You can write 3 posts(max) in a day depending upon the opportunities available for you.The greatest thing about this program is that they are giving you 20$ for your first pay per post. But there are also terms attached to this program like you can not have third party ads or other detractors inside your ppp post.Visit PayPer Post for more information about payperpost.

Check your password before submitting with this Bookmarklet

A really cool javascript to help u see your passwords(if they r long enough) before submitting to any website. This script reduces your chances of making typos errors in your passwords by showing them to u in a window.Passwords r usually shown in (*) when u type them to prevent others from seeing them.

But there are cases when you would really want to know the exact characters that you are typing in the password filed.

For instance when logging into your online bank account, if you type the wrong password more than three times, the account access could be locked for the next few hours.
Show my password bookmarklet – just drag the link into your browser bookmarks.

Nest step is to Just type the password and click the bookmarklet before hitting the Submit button – this will reveal the actual password characters, not the asterisk signs.

So you can very easily confirm that the password you are just about to submit is the right one. Some more bookmarklets for web forms are available here.
